Bennett Bedoukian is a member of the Armenian Diaspora, living off-grid, in the woods outside of Havelock, Ontario, with his partner and their beloved dog.
In addition to his print work, he is also a musician, playing drums & electronics regularly with Horseman, Pass By. (w/ Mark Molnar, cello & electronics), as well as in the Craig Pedersen Quartet (Craig Pedersen, trumpet, Mark Molnar, cello, Thierry Amar, upright bass, and bb, drums), solo as Cold Eye or under his own name as he sees fit, and in various ad hoc groups and arrangements. Occasionally he moonlights as a presenter of contemporary/avant-garde music in Peterborough, Ontario, including performances by Signe Emmeluth’s Amoeba (Norway), Toshimaru Nakamura/Tetuzi Akiyana/Sound of the Mountain (Japan/Australia), Marc Ribot (USA), Tatsuya Nakatani (Japan/USA), Will Guthrie (France/Australia), Eugene Chadbourne (USA), Vampire Belt (Chris Corsano & Bill Nace, USA), Joe Morris (USA), & Sandro Perri (Canada).
